I have a Young Women's calling. In a meeting yesterday, a youth expressed that we should "take ownership of our actions." We should not live the principals of the gospel because we are instructed to do so. We should live the principals of the gospel because we love Christ and we have eagerness to do so. I do have an eagerness to serve the Lord, and I would love to share that eagerness with others.
Sugar Bean Dreams is my testimony outlet. I live a life where my testimony isn't always welcome to be shared. I live in a generation where we do not always share our testimonies with one another. I hope that by starting Sugar Bean Dreams I can accomplish many things. I want to strengthen the testimonies of others by creating a place we can openly share with one another. I hope to reach out to people who know little about the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints and share with them the ways in which having the gospel has changed and even bettered my life. I hope to strengthen myself by forcing myself to look at the blessings and joy in my life. I hope to make other wives, mothers, and homemakers to feel less alone: you don't have to be perfect to be Mormon.
This will be a work in progress for a little while, but I ask you guys to stick with me. I hope and pray that this will be something that can be good for many.
I love this already.
Morgan
